I love seeing pictures of myself, family and friends when we were younger. It helps bring back memories as well as to understand a little more about the person like "so thats where I got my _____". So I figured I would post some baby pics of Tim and I. Maybe one day we will see a little bit of baby us in Baby B.

Our Week... So far.

This week began with Mother's Day, and tears. I was heading out the door for a morning walk when I saw a gift bag hanging on my door knob. I opened the bag to find a gift from my sister Katherine (Aunty Kat). As I read the card and opened the gift, I burst into tears. Katherine is not the most fetal friendly person and it touched my heart for her go out of her way to get me something on Mother's Day.

Later that morning Tim bought me an orchid
Excuse my hair... and the silly expression Tim is making.

The rest of the week continued as normal; work, errands, home, until Wed when my appetite kicked into overdrive causing this humorous text exchange to occur.

Thanks Tim, that locking the cabinet thing is really working out for us. :o)

Week 13

...If We Could Just Get Him to Behave

Im sure almost every job that involves working with customers means having to make small talk. When you've been in the same job for a while, you store up a few fan favorite lines that you know will be good with the customer but requires little to no thought from you. For example, in guidance "it was a pleasure working with (insert problem child's name here)". In retail "How are you today?".... you catch my drift. So Im sure that what the ultra sound tech said to Tim and I this week was simply small talk but I enjoyed it just the same. We went in this week for the integrated screening which involves taking a lot of measurements via the ultrasound. As soon as the gel went on, so did our baby. Moving hands and feet and head. B even looked like it was sucking its thumb a few times. The tech kept having to adjust to get the measurement she needed. But when it came to the last measurement, the back of the neck, B paused in a position that made it even more difficult for the tech to finish what she was doing. After trying a few things she turns to us and says "now if we can just get him to behave" which made both of us laugh... here we go lol
BTW that uncomfortable looking pillow that Baby B is resting its head on is the Fibroid... smh
