Daddy Daughter

Football season has arrived (I know this because Tim's attention for anything not NFL affiliated is preparing for departure). Because Baby B will arrive in the middle of football season, I thought it would be cute to take the opportunity to look up some cute daddy daughter attire.

So this weekend I challenged Tim and I to take more photos. We went on 2 dates and brought our highly hardly used camera along to get some practice in. This is what we came up with...

Week 25

How far along? 25 Weeks


Maternity clothes? Mixed in with some non- maternity

Stretch marks? One!!!!!!

Best moment this week: A visit from my best friend/ future Aunty Mychelle. We got so much stuff done (also, props to Aunty Lee for helping me out this week as well)

Miss Anything? Still sleep. Somebody lied and said “get all your sleep now before the baby is born”. Layla comes alive at night and expresses her opinion about my sleeping position.

Movement: Yes. Especially during quiet times.

Food cravings: 
Not really.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Food I do not “feel for”. If its not the exact way I want it, it makes me feel a little sick.

Have you started to show yet: Definitely but I still here “you look so tiny” all the time. LIES!!! :o)

Baby Must Haves

Like most things baby at this point, I realize that things are not as simple as I imagined. The registry was definitely one of those things. It has taken me at least 12 hours to put the baby registry together and "tweak the registry" is still on my to-do list almost everyday. 
I started the process on my own thinking "this is going to be fun". After about an hour of staring at all the options my thought process shifted to "I need help". Almost everyday Iv learned something new that opens my eyes to a new product or makes me think differently about a product Iv chosen. Reguardless, here are some of the products that have remained consistent on my list. 

1. Baby Bullet, 2. Chico Cortina Travel System, 3. Fisher Price Rock'N Play 4. Avent Glass Bottle

Week 23

How far along? 23 Weeks


Maternity clothes? Mixed in with some non- maternity

Stretch marks? None. Thank you Lord

Best moment this week: Making a lullaby playlist for Layla. It includes Colors of the Wind from Pocahontas, One Love by Bob Marley and Layla by Eric Clapton. Also, taking our first baby class. Tim sat through an entire 2.5 hours of breast feeding class and barley even flinched…is it weird to say I found that handsome?

Miss Anything? Sleep. I’ve been waking up ever 3-4 hours. I guess my body is preparing me for post baby life

Movement: Yes and I love it

Food cravings: 
Nothing crazy.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing specific but I have been feeling sick again and have been getting migraines

Week 22 Happy 4th of July

What a week it has been!

The week began on Sunday with Tim teaching Sunday school and being honored at church.

 On Monday I got this lovely gift of maternity cloths from my mom

This week we also had Chris B and family 

spend the 4th of July holiday with us.

We did a lot of fun activities including this cute belly painting.

How far along? 22 Weeks


Maternity clothes? Yes & Thank you mom for all of the new cloths

Best moment this week: Fourth of July

Have you told family and friends: Yes.

Miss Anything? Brain power. Pregnancy brain… true story

Movement: Yes. So excited to feel more as the weeks go on

Nothing specific but a lot at night :o(

Movement: Yes. One night this week, Layla kicked for about 20 minutes. Heaven
